What makes Salesforce Atlanta a top workplace? It’s more than just Waffle Wednesdays and Razor scooters (although don’t get us wrong--those are pretty awesome). Here are some other fantastic reasons, our employees tell us, we’re a great place to work.
Giving back. Salesforce was founded on an integrated philanthropy model: we donate 1 percent of our employee time, 1 percent of our equity, and 1 percent of our product to help improve communities around the globe. All Atlanta employees gets six paid days off each year to volunteer, and in the past five years have logged over 5,000 hours giving back to non-profits like United Way, Junior Achievement, and many more.
Having fun. Located in a sparkling new office in the middle of the vibrant Buckhead neighborhood--with a sweeping view of the Midtown skyline--Salesforce Atlanta is way more cool than corporate. With collaborative workspaces, on-site fitness classes, and a close-knit family feel (we call it Ohana), the Atlanta hub is the ultimate place to work...and play.
Delivering customer success. Everything we do, we do for our customers. That makes Atlanta an important Salesforce hub because it’s home to some of our biggest customers (like Home Depot and Coca-Cola...maybe you’ve heard of ’em?) and has incredible potential for market growth.
Growing fast. In addition to our expanding Sales team, our homegrown Pardot Marketing Automation team, acquired with ExactTarget in 2013, has quickly become an integral part of the Salesforce family. Salesforce Pardot provides a fast-moving, startup-like environment inside the greater company, with the opportunity to explore the business and make an impact in a major way. Two great teams in one sweet office? Talk about a win/win.
