ICYMI: 5 Highlights from Today at Dreamforce

Day 3 of Dreamforce was filled to the brim with inspiration and innovation. Today was the big day for the Women’s Leadership Summit, the majority of our product keynotes, and — of course — the Dreamfest and UCSF Benefit at Pier 70.

As you recharge your devices and prime your dancing shoes for the Dreamfest, here are 5 major highlights from today at Dreamforce.

1. Women’s Leadership Summit: CEO Panel

Two dynamic CEOs from high-profile technology companies shared their unique insights on how to thrive as female CEOs. Attendees were inspired as Leah Busque, founder and CEO of TaskRabbit, and Katrina Lake, founder and CEO of StitchFix, talked about how they lead and manage their companies.

2. Susan Wojciki and Jessica Alba Speak

Jessica Alba, Founder of The Honest Company, and Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, led a lively discussion on how we can truly engage future female leaders and advocates. Let’s face it — we’ve all spent more hours than we’d care to admit watching YouTube videos, and we’ve certainly all seen Jessica Alba appear in some beloved movies, so to see these two media leaders in one place was exhilarating.

3. Customer Obsession Takes Center Stage

Forrester Research CEO George Colony, VP and Principal Analyst Julie Ask, and VP and Principal Analyst James McQuivey presented groundbreaking new ideas on customer obsession. They talked about how businesses are competing differently than ever before, and why consumers’ hyperadoption of new channels demands a change in how we work and drive growth. It made for a provocative discussion relevant to anyone hoping to make and keep new customers in the modern world.

4. Incredible Product Keynotes

If you came to Dreamforce expecting to have your expectations for technology blown out of the water, you surely experienced that today. Keynotes from Analytics Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, RelateIQ, Salesforce Platform, and Salesforce Admin showcased everything that’s new and important from Salesforce — and shared stories of how Salesforce customers are achieving a whole new level of success.
