5 Reasons to Attend the Sales Summit at Dreamforce 2015

The landscape of buying and selling has changed dramatically over the last decade and continues to change at a rapid pace. This creates many challenges for organisations to ensure they are adapting the way they sell, market and compete at the speed of change required. Whilst Salesforce continue to evolve our Sales Cloud CRM offering to ensure you can Sell Faster, Smarter and The Way You Want, we don’t stop there — We focus on the thought leadership and insights required by sales leaders to adapt.

Salesforce has brought together an amazing community of sales thought leaders ,some of the world’s most respected sales minds, who regularly share their insights throughout the year with Salesforce customers. This year at Dreamforce, we’re bringing them together to share their insights with you for 1 day only, the Sales Summit.

Here’s 5 key reasons to attend the Sales Summit on Tuesday 15th September 2015.

1. World-Class Speakers for free!

To book world-class sales speakers would usually cost your organisation thousands of dollars! However, if you have a full Dreamforce pass, attending the Sales Summit will give you these insights free of charge! Our Sales Summit this year has 14 speakers from well-known organisations incl. CEB, McKinsey, CSO Insights, Sales Management Association, Sales Hunter, #SocialSelling, Cloud Coaching International, Bridge Group Inc, Sales Benchmark Index, The TAS Group and Vantage Point Performance.

2. The Sales Summit is for anyone in Sales

The Sales Summit isn’t just for Sales Leaders. The sessions will target various roles all of whom touch the sales journey including:

  • Sales Leaders

  • Sales Operations

  • Sales Enablement

  • Sales Productivity

  • Marketing

The sessions are also open to anyone who has a full Dreamforce pass - You can register for them in Agenda Builder by searching for ‘Sales Summit’ in the sessions.

3. Relevant Session Topics with Clear Takeaways

We have some amazing sessions (Download the full Sales Summit e-brochure here) covering a wide variety of topics specifically aligned to the challenges faced in sales. Most importantly, all of the sessions will have some clear takeaways so you can action the insights you gain. With so many sessions at Dreamforce, some of our thought leaders even created a short video about their session to help you understand what insights they’ll be sharing!

4. Hear from CEB around the new ‘Challenger Customer’

For the past five years, CEB has been studying the evolving roles of sales and marketing professionals, in the context of the changing B2B customer. In 2011, their book ‘The Challenger Sale’ turned the idea of the high-performing sales rep on its head. They’re now launching their new book, ‘The Challenger Customer’ early September. In many ways, this book picks up the story from ‘The Challenger Sale,’ but with significantly more research on the relationship between Marketing and Sales, and with extra focus on B2B buyers.

Brent Adamson, one of the co-authors, will be leading a session at 11:00AM in the Sales Summit followed by a book signing. If you register for this session you’ll get a free signed copy of their new book!
